Overview. Gnommish in the Artemis Fowl film. Gnommish is the language of the fairies. It is originally compared by Artemis to the Egyptian hieroglyphs. When Artemis Fowl and other characters speak Gnommish in the books, they are clearly speaking another language, but the reader-translatable Gnommish written on the bottom of each page of the books directly.
The Bird Alphabet Book was a fun colorful book that page by page gave interesting facts, about animals that started with that specific letter. It was a basic alphabet book or at least like one you would think of.
The pictures were pretty and all the facts were cool. It also had several animals that I had never heard of which was fun to learn about/5. This is a wonderful book for its concept and illustrations. If it's meant to help teach the alphabet to young children (which I believe it was judging from the picture of the toddler on the last page), then some of the bird choices for letters are too complex/5(18).
